To be a free range human

Years ago my family and I  lived in an area where many Amish families lived on huge farms in central Indiana. It was there that I began learning to make tea and herbal medicines from garden plants and wild eatables. The ladies were all to happy to share their generational secrets in gardening and home healthcare with someone genuinely interested in the subject. However, the most intriguing part of these wonderful people,  was how they raised their children. The Amish free range their kids until about the age of 7. These rosy cheeked children are healthy and well mannered, although, often shy around the “English.”  The younger children were mostly barefoot in the summer months and played in the sunshine without being slathered with poisonous sunscreen. The older children took responsibility for helping around the farm and house without question. This is their life.

Living Traditionally.com put out an article that brought back memories of younger days living close to these simple people. In the following article we can see why they are healthier than most everyone else, I can confirm what the author has to say.
